These Terms and Conditions are effective immediately. Sparkle & Shine Cleaning Services is a locally woman-owned and operated small business proudly serving the Atlanta, Georgia community. We are licensed, bonded, and insured, and our employees are professionally trained and vetted.

By hiring Sparkle & Shine Cleaning Services, you agree to be the party responsible for full payment, communication, and compliance with all policies, upholding this agreement and satisfaction guarantee procedures. Third-party involvement is not recognized by Sparkle & Shine Cleaning Services.


Communicate with us!


  1. If you have any questions or concerns about your cleaning service, please call or text our office. We have a dedicated office staff ready to assist you and who will make every reasonable effort to provide you with a highly professional cleaning service.
  2. One way you can help us maintain top-quality service is through your ongoing feedback. Please fill out your survey after every visit — our cleaning techs receive incentives based on their quality scores and return rates.

Getting your home ready:


  1. Please have your home picked up and ready for cleaning. Hourly charges may apply if additional time is needed due to the home's condition.
  2. Notify all guests about our arrival and access needs.
  3. Let us know ahead of time if guests or unfamiliar individuals will be present to avoid surprises.

What Does Our ADA Accessibility Agreement Mean?


Our ADA Accessibility Agreement outlines our commitment to making our website and mobile application accessible and user-friendly for all individuals, including those with disabilities. We take your accessibility needs seriously to ensure a seamless online experience.


Preparing Children and Pets:


  1. Please supervise children during cleanings for safety reasons.
  2. Aggressive pets must be secured away from cleaning areas. We reserve the right to leave if pets exhibit aggressive behavior, and the full service fee will apply.
  3. We are not responsible for pet behavior during service.

Accessing Your Home:

  1. Provide a door code or lockbox code. A fee may apply if we cannot access your home (see lockout policy).
  2. Please disarm alarm systems or provide instructions. We are not responsible for false alarms, alarm failures, or related charges.
  3. Allow full access to the home to maintain cleaning efficiency. Changes to the cleaning order must be requested in advance and may incur additional charges.

Estimate/Quotes:


  1. Estimates are based on the information provided. If the condition is worse than described, we may adjust the quote or terminate service.
  2. Changes requested after the initial estimate may require additional charges or a new quote.
  3. We may decline jobs that exceed our service capabilities, without charge.

Don’t Skip…Modify your work order:


  • Skipping cleanings affects our employees’ income. If you skip, consider deep cleaning tasks instead.
  • We require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations of recurring services.
  • Late cancellations (under 48 hours) will incur the full cost of the scheduled cleaning.
  • Exceptions for emergencies or illness are considered case-by-case.

Note: Vacation, illness, or temporary service changes still require 48-hour notice.


Paying for Services:

  • We accept cash, checks, Visa/MasterCard, and bank transfers.
  • NSF checks incur a $45 service fee.
  • Declined credit cards and unpaid balances are subject to a $25 service charge or 15% interest, whichever is greater.
  • Cash should be placed in a sealed envelope addressed to the office.
  • Beginning service implies agreement with these terms and authorization to charge your card if applicable.

Tipping:


  1. Tipping is optional and at your discretion.
  2. Tips can be added via the quality survey or included as a line item on your invoice.

Protecting Your Valuables:


  1. If you request cleaning of delicate items (china cabinets, computer equipment, antiques), you agree to hold Sparkle & Shine Cleaning Services harmless for any accidental damage.
  2. Damage must be reported within two business days for coverage consideration.
  3. We are not responsible for damage due to faulty installation, wear and tear, or lack of maintenance.

Scheduling Other Service Providers:


  1. Please do not schedule other service providers during our cleaning unless you are present.
  2. We are not responsible for re-cleaning areas affected by other service providers.

Protecting Our Cleaning Technicians:


  1. Technicians do not climb ladders higher than two steps.
  2. They will not move heavy furniture.
  3. Staff will not handle biological waste or work in areas with live infestations.
  4. We ask that smoking is avoided during cleaning visits for the health of our technicians.

Rate Adjustments


Sparkle & Shine Cleaning Services reserves the right to reevaluate and adjust rates when necessary to meet service quality standards.


100% Satisfaction Guarantee:


  1. If a scope-of-work area is missed, call within 24 hours, and we will return within one business day to re-clean.
  2. No cash refunds or discounts in place of a re-clean.
  3. Using your cleaning products requires signing a Product and Equipment Waiver and voids the satisfaction guarantee.

Non-Solicitation of Clean and Simple Cleaning’s Employees


By agreeing to services, you agree not to directly hire any staff member of Sparkle & Shine Cleaning Services for any home-related services. If you wish to hire a cleaner independently, a $3,500 referral fee applies. We value our employees greatly, and this protects our investments in training and staffing.
